Every spring The Magnificent Mile celebrates the bloom of hundreds of thousands of vibrant tulips, signaling the start of spring in Chicago. New for 2010, the elegant “Tulipa Maggie Daley” graced the Avenue for the first time exclusively on The Magnificent Mile at 520, 676 and 717 N. Michigan Avenue. The Magnificent Mile Floral Carpet debuted at the John Hancock Center Plaza May 7 - 16, surprising passers-by with an urban beauty amongst towering skyscrapers. Through May 31, visit The Magnificent Mile and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay, a day of shopping and more, all while taking advantage of magnificent spring offers in hotels, restaurants, spas and other attractions.

Congratulations to Laura Kelly of Chicago, winner of the Architecture portion of the Tulips on The Magnificent Mile Photo Contest with her photo “Castles.” Laura has won a private tour for 12 at The Richard H. Driehaus Museum.
