Tulip Bulb Storage & Planting Instructions
1) Keep bulbs stored in a ventilated bag in a cool, dry place (such as a basement or cool garage).
2) In the fall, plant the tulip bulbs at a 6” depth.
3) Apply bone meal over the top of the bulb and then cover with soil. Water and watch it grow!
4) How to enjoy tulips year after year: Following the bloom of the tulip in spring while the bulb is still in the ground, remove the flower head
leaving just the stalk. When the stalk turns brown cut it at ground level. The stalk will take in sunlight, enabling the plant bulb to
reproduce again next spring.
5) Don’t miss next year’s bloom anticipated in early May. Follow us for updates!
